Halloween Costume Contest Fundraiser Results!

The McAnulty College and Graduate School of Liberal Arts held its first annual Halloween Costume Contest Fundraiser to benefit the Office of Multicultural Affairs' Turkey Drive. Through the extreme generosity of the faculty, staff, and students, we raised $150 for the cause! Not only was it extremely fun, it was so fulfilling to know that we helped our neighbors in need.

The level of creativity for some of the costumes was truly outstanding!

Dr. James Purdy, Director of the Writing Center, as Friedrich from The Sound of Music

Dr. John Kern, Department of Mathematics, as a t-table.

Janet Sculimbrene, Assistant to the Dean, as a UPS Freight Delivery Woman

John Lane, Director of the Theatre Arts Program, as a Very Tall Scotsman

Dr. Laura Engel, Department of English, as a gypsy

Amanda Sorrell, Law School student, as a bumblebee

(L) Gabrielle Kokanos, Administrative Assistant for English, as a model from Project Runway who is wearing variations of all of the really bad designs from the show

(R) Nora McBurney, Administrative Assistant for English, as Project Runway's Tim Gunn.

(L) Joan Lapyczak, Administrative Assistant for Political Science, as Judge Gil T. Verdict

(R) Joan Thompson, Administrative Assistant for Philosophy, as guilty prisoner
