The Department of History and the Department of English decided to organize a fundraiser to help out the Office of Multicultural Affairs' (OMA) 4th Annual Turkey Drive. This year, to help raise funds, a Halloween Costume Contest will take place on Friday, October 30, 2009. Judging will take place during the common hour between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Judges include: Julie Overand (Support Services), Marvin McKinney (Facilities), and Dr. Christopher Duncan (Dean, McAnulty College & Graduate School of Liberal Arts)
The contest is $5 to enter, and all funds raised will go directly to the OMA's Turkey Drive.
The prizes?
A Starbucks gift card, bragging rights, and the lovely trophy pictured above.
